This BLT Chicken Salad Meal Prep is a deliciously easy and healthy way to prepare your meals for the week. The juicy chicken breasts wrapped in crispy bacon bring a savory flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh crunch of romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes. With a simple pepper-infused mayonnaise dressing, this meal is satisfying and utterly delicious. Perfect for lunch or dinner, it's a meal you'll look forward to all week long.

Ingredients

Protein 1.5 Cups

  • • ¼ Cup strips Bacon

  • • 1.¼ Cup Chicken breasts, boneless skinless

Veggie 1.5

1 Cup Romaine Lettuce

1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes

• 1/4 cup Green onion


Toppers

  • • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise

  • • 1/2 tsp Black pepper


Directions (Original)

  • Place chicken breasts in a medium sized sauce pan and cover with cold water until both breasts are covered with at least 1″ of water

  • Place pot on the stove uncovered and bring water to a boil

  • Reduce the water to a simmer and cover with a lid

  • Simmer the chicken for 14 minutes then remove from heat

  • While the chicken cookes prepare the bacon on the stovetop – fry at medium-low heat until crispy

  • Place cooked bacon on a towel to drain some grease and then chop into bite sized pieces

  • In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, green onion, and black pepper

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the water and shredd on a plate or cutting board with 2 forks

  • In a large bowl combine shredded chicken, mayo, green onion and pepper mixture, quartered cherry tomatoes and chopped bacon

  • Mix all ingredients until evenly combined

  • Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days

Yes — the borosilicate glass bowls and silicone lids are both top-rack dishwasher safe. We recommend hand-washing the mindful eating utensils to keep them in best shape.

Yes — but remove the lid first. The glass is rated for microwave, oven (up to 350°F), and freezer use. The silicone lids should NOT go in the microwave or oven.

Yes — every component that touches your food is BPA-free. The bowl is borosilicate glass, the lids are food-grade silicone, and the locking clips are PP plastic that's BPA- and phthalate-free.

12+ hours cold, 6 hours hot. The double-wall vacuum insulation means no condensation on the outside, so you can throw it in your bag without worrying about your laptop.

The bowls themselves are useful from day one as a visual cue for portions, but the 2-cup capacity is sized for Phase 4 (regular foods), which most patients reach around 6–8 weeks post-op. Phase 3 (soft foods)? Our BariBowl Mini, sized at 1 cup, is coming soon. Always check with your dietitian first.

The 50% protein / 30% veg / 20% carb plate method is the most widely recommended bariatric ratio across both sleeve and RNY patients. Your specific program may have slightly different targets — bring our BariBowl to your next dietitian appointment and ask.
