Why it matters

The surgery ends. The hard part doesn't.

Clinicians handle the operation. What they rarely have time for is the daily, emotional, identity-level reality of living it -- the plateaus, the food grief, the fear of regain. That's where peer support lives.

25%
face regain

Roughly 1 in 4 patients regain weight

after bariatric surgery -- most often 2-5 years out, once the clinical team has stepped back. Ongoing support is what bridges that gap.

Where support drops off

  • Pre-op -- heavy clinical attention, education, prep.

  • First weeks post-op -- close follow-up, then visits taper.

  • Months 3-12 -- life resumes; the emotional work begins, mostly alone.

  • Years 2-5 -- highest regain risk, lowest professional contact. Peer support fills this gap.

Who it's for

If you're in one of these, you're in the right place.

Weight-loss surgery journey

Considering, recovering from, or years into bariatric surgery -- and feeling alone in it.

  • Deciding whether surgery is right for you
  • Navigating the first months after your operation
  • Fighting a plateau or early signs of regain
  • Rebuilding your relationship with food and your body

Losing weight on GLP-1s or your own

On semaglutide/tirzepatide or doing it without surgery -- and nobody's keeping you accountable.

  • Staying consistent between doctor visits
  • Building habits that outlast the medication
  • Someone to check in with who actually gets it
  • Honest accountability without shame

Clear & honest

What peer support is -- and isn't.

This is support built on lived experience, not clinical care. That clarity keeps you safe and our work honest.

What you get

  • Shared lived experience -- what worked and what didn't
  • Emotional support and a non-judgmental ear
  • Accountability, structure, and goal check-ins
  • Help knowing what to ask your care team
  • Community and the reminder: you're not alone

What this isn't

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Prescribed meal plans or calorie/macro targets
  • Medication or GLP-1 dosing guidance
  • Therapy or crisis counseling
  • A replacement for your doctor or dietitian

Why a package

Change happens over weeks, not minutes.

Most progress -- and most of the relationship that makes support work -- builds over the first several sessions. A package gets you there instead of stalling after one call.

A package means you show up, do the work, and have someone in your corner the whole way.

Momentum builds with consistency

My story

I've been where you are.

I had weight-loss surgery and spent years working through the part nobody warns you about -- the emotional weight, the setbacks, the slow rebuild of a new normal.

I'm not here to lecture you. I'm here because I remember exactly how alone this can feel -- and how much one person who truly gets it can change things.

This isn't clinical care. It's one person who's walked the path, walking it with you.

Let's talk

Questions

Good things to ask first.

Is this medical or clinical advice?

No. This is non-clinical peer support based on lived experience. I don't diagnose, treat, prescribe meal plans, or give medication advice -- and I'll always point you back to your care team when something needs a clinician.

Do I need to have had surgery to work with you?

No. I work with people considering surgery, living with it years later, and folks losing weight on GLP-1s or on their own. If you're navigating any of it and want someone who gets it, you're welcome here.

How long are sessions and how often?

Sessions run 50-60 minutes, weekly or every other week. Most people start with the 6-session package over 6-12 weeks, but single sessions are always available.

What happens on the free intro call?

A relaxed 20-30 minute conversation. We talk through where you are, what you're hoping for, and whether working together feels right. No pressure, no obligation.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What we talk about stays between us. This is a private, one-to-one space -- never shared, and never recorded without your okay.
